Q: How do I install the ceiling strips?
A: Amoula manufactures
U-Clips used in holding ceiling strips in place. The strips are installed on 2 x 2 wood nogging, while the U-Clips are nailed onto
the ceiling. In some applications the strips are also held in place by H-Clips, V-Clips and Skirting Board Clips, all manufactured
by Amoula.
Q: Will Amoula Ventures deliver the ceiling strips to my location for me?
A: Unfortunately, Amoula is not responsible
for delivery. Customers make arrangements for the delivery of their order.
Q: What discount can I get per purchase?
A: Any
purchase of materials from N200,000 and above attracts a discount.
Q: How do I make payments for my order?
A: Payment
can be made in the form of cash, cheque, or bank draft.
Q: Can I place a custom order?
A: We regret that for now, we are
unable to take custom orders.
Q: What are the basic requirements for distributorship?
A: The prospective distributor must
present a photocopy of a certificate of incorporation and have a warehouse to store the materials. If the application is approved,
the distributor will be given materials worth the initial capital paid, with at least six different colours. No minimum purchase is
required, but prices in Lagos differ from those in other states.
Q: What are the decorative panels made of?
A: The panels
are made from a special Ultra-Violet (UV) stabilized plastic resin (PVC).
Q: How many panels are there in a pack?
A: There
are 5 strips in a pack of the double panels, and 10 in a pack of the single ones.
Q: How do the panels fit together?
A:
This is done through the use of a tack nail clipped onto one side of the panel and covered with another panel to show the groove in
between.
Q: Can I fit the panels over existing tiles?
A: Yes, in some cases where there are existing abestors which
already have 2 x 2 nogging.
Q: How do decorative ceiling strips compare to tiles for cost?
A: Not only are the ceiling
strips cheaper but they are also more economical in the long term because of their durability.
Q: How long do the panels
last?
A: Panels located in the interior of a house will last for as long as you require them. Those that are installed outdoors will
last for about 10-15 years.
Q: Do your products bow, bend or warp like most do in humidity?
A: Our products are not
affected by humidity. However, they may be affected after a long period of contact with sunlight.
